An Indian billionaire did not want a traditional teambuilding. For him, something more extravagant was more appropriate. He treated his 3500 employees with a luxurious incentive in Istanbul, which cost no less than 10 million dollars!
The company visited several hotspots such as Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia. The 10 most expensive hotels in Istanbul were reserved, and the employees undertook private sailing trips on the Bosphorus. As if that weren’t enough, the employees also received $285 per person pocket money. That’s easily another $1 million. The Association for Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB) and the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism planned the trip for a week. The identity of the generous giver has not been announced.
With a price tag of $10 million, this corporate event would be ranked sixth in this list of the most expensive events ever conducted:
