The Amsterdam-based company G3 Presents, which supplies tents to thirty festivals in Europe including Rock Werchter, Pinkpop, Milkshake and Tomorrowland, is bankrupt. That we learned from a RTL Z report and the news is confirmed by Nele Bigaré, spokesperson for Rock Werchter. According to Bigaré, festival goers should not worry.
Curator Nils Reerink reports to RTL Z that the bankruptcy of G3 Presents and G3 Events was pronounced two days ago. Both entities are part of the parent company G3 Holding that remained outside these bankruptcies. "My first focus now is to quickly make a new start and thus save the festival season, we are discussing this with various parties, I can not say anything about their identity", says Reerink.
Nele Bigaré of Rock Werchter confirms the bankruptcy. "We have heard the news this morning and are currently investigating the situation. We will make sure that the necessary accommodations are available and that the festival visitors will not be bothered", says Bigaré.
