According to research published by Ericsson, more than 50 billion objects will be connected to the Internet by the year 2020. That’s an average of six objects for every person on the planet! On the other hand, a GE report indicates that by the year 2025, the Internet of Things will expand "to $82 trillion of output, or approximately one-half of the global economy."
