Take on the role of a hacker! In the new teambuilding game from UP Events “Hackaton” codes are cracked, riddles are solved and the safe is cracked. An exciting challenge, where you compete in different teams. Requirements: intelligence, imagination and a set of nerves of steel ... At UP Events you come for a unique experience. Each event can be completely personalized. UP Events offers more than 100 different activities. Each activity can be combined with a drink, BBQ, snacks or a party. This way you can make your event as sporty, active, serious, relaxed, fun or inspiring as you wish. In addition to activities on UP's special & green site in De Tuinen van West, most activities can also be organized at any other location. How about a city hunt, or a custom-made GPS game in the company building. But UP Events is also the right place for corporate festivals and theme parties: from winter wonderland festival to Summer Festival or Oktoberfest to Casino evening. How about a Hackaton? Hackaton is accessible to everyone. The competitive, exciting game takes place indoors. It is not complicated or physically demanding and because the game is played in teams, everyone can take on a role and use their own strengths. This game is new in the Netherlands and can be played exclusively at UP Events. 1. Getting Started The game starts by dividing the group into different, very strong teams. Then follows an extensive presentation and explanation of the game. The purpose, rules and technology used will be fully understood below. The teams receive a book with 30 riddles and assignments and register on the Hackaton platform (app). On this platform, each team can enter the answers of the riddles into a scoring system, so that the score is kept in real time. And everyone is Ready to Rumble! 2. Hacking Hive Then several rounds will follow. Round 1 and Round 2. The teams get to work to solve as many riddles and problems as possible. The playing field becomes a large Hacking Hive. As the answers are entered into the scoring system, number codes are revealed, coded questions must be answered, and the teams' score is projected live. A nerve-racking, strategic game that requires good cooperation. After Round 1, the final in Round 2 will be played by the best teams from Round 1. 3. The Grande Final In the final, the only goal is to crack the code of the safe. There is a single puzzle - a tangram puzzle - central. This Tangram must be solved to reveal this safe code. The team that deciphers the code first can use it to open the safe and win! The teams that did not make it to the finals also compete with each other. They can bet the points they have scored on one of the finalist teams. Teambuilding to the max The Hackaton game can be played with many teams at the same time and is therefore ideal for large groups (20-5000 people). For companies looking for an active team building activity with a large group of people, this accessible game is perfect. There must be very good cooperation so that there is synergy between the team members. Communication plays a major role so that collective thinking can be done. It is wise to set up a strategy in advance and there is a bit of time management involved. Finally, it is smart to appoint a project manager who delegates and assigns each team member a role.
