For the Meeting Center and bistro The Greenhouse we are looking for a motivated (assistant) chef for our cold kitchen. Are you looking for a varied job in a dynamic organization of fairs and events? Welcome to our team!

Job description:

Together with the chef you are responsible for preparing our fresh dishes of the day.
You take care of the mise-en-place in preparation for a smooth service.
You assist your kitchen colleagues where necessary.
After the service you are responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen.
You monitor stock levels and assist with placing orders.
You help create new recipes.

Profile

You have a well-groomed appearance and attach great importance to hygiene standards.
You have completed training as a chef/caterer or are considered equivalent through experience.
You are creative and you have a knack for cooking.
You can work independently and in a team.
You are dynamic and have a positive attitude.
You speak and understand Dutch fluently. Knowledge of French is a plus.
Kitchen terminology holds no secrets for you.
You are flexible in terms of working hours and working on weekends is no problem.
You preferably live in the Kortrijk area.
