Exhibition Manager Fairs & Events

You are an experienced Sales & Project Manager. Spotting trade fair and market trends, entrepreneurship & organization, being creative with (new) media, commercial negotiations, analyzing results, ...: every day brings you an interesting mix of diverse tasks. You are a true organizer, you come up with persuasive communication and launch successful trade fairs and events for professionals and the general public. As a leadership talent, you are strong with numbers, you can motivate a team and you excel in entrepreneurship.

Job description:

You will sit around the table with the Unit Director and be ultimately responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of a handful of food sector trade fairs, leading a team to achieve successful results.

In addition, you will market the commercial activities and be involved in sales. You will immerse yourself in the world of events, shed light on the financial picture and become an expert in the sector. There is no lack of variety!

• You are in charge of a trade fair concept and coach your colleagues from the project team throughout the entire process.
• You guarantee the commercial development of customer relations and actively look for exhibitors.
• You express yourself creatively with advertising campaigns, and take into account the entire marketing mix: social media, brochures, advertisements, posters, direct mail, etc.
• Together with your team, you manage the practical roll-out of trade fairs and events.
• As the person ultimately responsible, you draw up budgets, carry out analyses and prepare the final balance sheet.
• You manage agreements and price negotiations with suppliers.

Profile

• You have a master's degree and experience as a Sales Manager or Project Manager.
• You excel in organization and are bursting with commercial talent.
• You are also a born entrepreneur.
• Experience shows that you can easily make new contacts and build long-term relationships.
• No detail escapes your critical eye!
• You are a hard and driven worker, both independently and in a team.
• You speak Dutch, French and English fluently.
