A leading music stage in an iconic building, with modern technology, beautiful spaces and a central location in Amsterdam: Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ has it all!

It is the ideal place for conferences, lectures, (product) presentations, fashion shows, dinners, drinks, parties and award ceremonies.

The Muziekgebouw is a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station.

You can also take tram 26 from Amsterdam Central Station. It stops right outside the door after 1 stop. There are several parking garages near the Muziekgebouw, including the Piet Heingarage. This is located under the building and gives direct access to the Entrance Hall.

To add something extra to your event, it is even possible to arrive by boat.

Entrance hall

The Entrance Hall is the space where guests gather. This serves as a reception area, registration of your guests and is equipped with the cloakroom. One of our preferred caterers will also be happy to provide your catering in this space. It has direct access to the terrace, where you can continue your drink in good weather. Foyerdeck 1 can be seen as an extension of the Entrance Hall. This space is located on the 1st floor and can, for example, serve as a reception or drinks room. Your dinner, a brainstorming session, a break out session or a room for your VIP guests can also take place here.

Big room

The Grote Zaal has a maximum capacity of 725 guests in theater style, including guests who take a seat on the Balcony. The seats on the ground floor are not fixed and therefore various arrangements are possible; House of Commons arrangement, square arrangement, dinners with round or straight tables, a catwalk, etc.

The Great Hall is equipped with LED lighting all around. It can take on any color you want.

It also has a movable floor that can be stepped on, so that the sightlines of your guests during your conference are optimal.

There are three Studios in the backstage area. These can serve as break out space, but also as production office.

Small Hall

The Kleine Zaal, on the 3rd floor, has a maximum capacity of 120 guests in theater style. This space has a glass front that can be opened in its entirety to Foyerdeck 3, so that one large space is created.

From Foyerdeck 3 you can enjoy the great 180 degree view towards the city center, towards the IJ and towards Amsterdam Noord.

Atrium room

The Atrium Hall is located in the Atrium. This room has a maximum capacity of 110 guests in theater style. There are 4 smaller break-out rooms on the sides of the Atrium Room, which can be used, for example, for brainstorming sessions.

The Atrium itself can serve as a reception and drinks room for guests. This is also the place to be during SAIL; it has an exclusive part of the terrace, which makes it even better to see the tall ships that sail past from a unique place.

Een toonaangevend muziekpodium in een iconisch gebouw, met moderne techniek, prachtige ruimtes en een centrale ligging in Amsterdam: Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ heeft het allemaal!

Het is de ideale plek voor congressen, lezingen, (product)presentaties, modeshows, diners, borrels, feesten en prijsuitreikingen.

Het Muziekgebouw ligt op 10 minuten loopafstand van Amsterdam Centraal Station.

Eveneens kunt u vanaf Amsterdam Centraal Station tram 26 nemen. Deze stopt na 1 halte precies voor de deur. Er zijn diverse parkeergarages in de buurt van het Muziekgebouw, waaronder de Piet Heingarage. Deze bevindt zich onder het gebouw en geeft directe toegang tot de Entreehal.

Om iets extra’s aan uw evenement toe te voegen, is het zelfs mogelijk om per boot te arriveren.

Entreehal

De Entreehal is de ruimte waar de gasten samenkomen. Deze dient als ontvangstruimte, registratie van uw gasten en is voorzien van de garderobe. Ook verzorgen één van onze preferred cateraars graag uw catering in deze ruimte. Het heeft een directe toegang tot het terras, waar u de borrel voort kunt zetten bij mooi weer. Foyerdeck 1 kan gezien worden als een verlenging van de Entreehal. Deze ruimte ligt op de 1e verdieping en kan bijvoorbeeld dienen als een ontvangst- of borrelruimte. Ook kan hier uw diner plaatsvinden, een brainstormsessie, een break out sessie of een ruimte voor uw VIP gasten.

Grote Zaal

De Grote Zaal heeft een maximale capaciteit van 725 gasten in theateropstelling, inclusief gasten die plaatsnemen op het Balkon. De stoelen op de begane grond zitten niet vast en daardoor zijn er diverse opstellingen mogelijk; Lagerhuis-opstelling, carré opstelling, diners met ronde of rechte tafels, een catwalk, etc.

De Grote Zaal is rondom voorzien van led-verlichting. Deze kan elke gewenste kleur aannemen.

Tevens heeft het een beweegbare vloer die getrapt kan worden, waardoor de zichtlijnen van uw gasten tijdens uw congres optimaal zijn.

In de backstageruimte bevinden zich drie Studio’s. Deze kunnen dienen als break out ruimte, maar ook als productiekantoor.

Kleine Zaal

De Kleine Zaal, op de 3e verdieping, heeft een maximale capaciteit van 120 gasten in theateropstelling. Deze ruimte heeft een glazen pui die in zijn geheel open gezet kan worden naar Foyerdeck 3, zodat er één grote ruimte ontstaat.

Vanaf Foyerdeck 3 kan men genieten van het geweldige 180 graden uitzicht richting de binnenstad, naar het IJ en richting Amsterdam Noord.

Atriumzaal

De Atriumzaal bevindt zich in het Atrium. Deze ruimte heeft een maximale capaciteit van 110 gasten in theateropstelling. In de Atriumzaal zitten aan de zijkanten 4 kleinere break out ruimtes, die bijvoorbeeld gebruikt kunnen worden voor brainstormsessies.

Het Atrium zelf kan dienen als ontvangst- en borrelruimte voor de gasten. Eveneens is dit dé plek waar u moet zijn tijdens SAIL; het heeft een exclusief stukje terras, waardoor de tallships die langs varen nog beter te zien zijn vanaf een unieke plek.
