'The Max' is a new initiative of the company Krautz-Temax and is located on the historic mine site of Heusden-Zolder. The project is housed in the former buildings of the 'Central Warehouse' and 'Centrum Duurzaam Bouwen', both important milestones in the mining history of Limburg. This location offers an unparalleled setting with various possibilities.
The Lavandi restaurant, formerly the miners' bathhouse in Heusden-Zolder, creates a unique atmosphere with various dining options, such as the inner section, the industrial winter garden and the covered terrace, also known as the orangery, which can also be rented as a (party) room.
In addition, the VR section of The Max Eventcenter is perfect for lovers of virtual reality games. Here, visitors can play exclusive VR and AR games, experience escape rooms, follow trainings, undergo therapies and much more. This also makes it attractive for companies that want to organize team building activities or are looking for a creative addition to their meeting.
For business meetings, The Max Eventcenter offers multi-purpose rooms that can be rented for meetings, fairs, congresses, product launches, company parties and other events. Each room has a unique interior and different capacities.
A strength of The Max Eventcenter is that all facilities are located under one roof. This makes it easy to have a meeting in one of the rooms in the morning, then play an exclusive VR game and then have a nice dinner with colleagues in Restaurant Lavandi. In addition, The Max Eventcenter has a spacious parking lot with up to 1,000 parking spaces, so there is sufficient parking space for visitors. It is also possible to charge electric cars via the AC charging stations located at the back of the building. In addition, the location is conveniently located near the highway and public transport, making it easily accessible.
