The auction house is a renowned player in the art market and auctions at home and abroad. Every month there are various auctions with masterpieces on the program. The auction room has a unique appearance and is equipped with an auditorium for 300 people (with 150 seats in the gallery). In addition, 5 multifunctional rooms are available. You receive your guests in the new stylish reception areas Box and Parcours. In the Verlat- and Museumzaal you can hold a gala dinner or walking dinner for mx 300 people, in the middle of all the works of art. Our challenge lies in devising and implementing high-profile total concepts for all your meetings, product presentations, receptions, walking dinners, gala evenings, seminars, press presentations and private events. Concepts around art

As a location, Platform stands for originality in terms of interpretation of your projects: in the well-known auction house, there is always a piece of antiques, design or a unique collection of art objects to be sold, under the hammer or by hand. Usually these are antiques or rarities that are offered directly from private collections. On request, the room can be decorated with paintings by Ancient, Romantic and Modern Masters, sculptures, old chandeliers, carpets, etc. You will find the appropriate setting with unique and original art objects that will turn your event into an unforgettable photo shoot.

Luxurious reception

Thanks to the newest rooms Box and Parcours, your guests will be immersed in the art world in an exclusive way as soon as they are received.

A revolutionary 'box' that was slid into the old 19th century depot, not only serves as a reception area, but also houses three offices. Around the Box are glass showcases and a painting wall where the latest art objects can be viewed before they are exhibited for the auction.

Box en Parcours can be hired for a luxurious reception for up to 100 people. This can be the starting point of a conference or seminar that continues in the large Auction Room. Your event ends in style with a walking dinner or gala dinner amidst all the artworks in the Museum of Verlatzaal.

Classy meeting

Do you need an intimate meeting that stimulates creativity? We have a beautiful auditorium for 150 guests that can be expanded to 280 seats with all the technology needed to realize a high-quality presentation. A seminar is in its original sense a seminar led by experts, a professional driving force that most companies consider vital for the further development of business and personnel. Pure knowledge transfer is useful, but nowadays it can be more in today's corporate culture. When organizing a meetcentive, there is a great need for a pleasant and stylish seminar location. Thanks to the auditorium and the possibility to provide small break-outs, the Platform has all the facilities available to realize your meeting at the highest level. The breaks are given an extra dimension by the presence of our barista champion who surprises your guests with artful latte art or do we provide a smoothie bar with fresh juices? After the formal part follows an appropriate lunch formula and we complete the “meetcentive” with a great workshop on art or outdoor activity in the lively South. Business meets pleasure

Product launch, customer event, presentation, press presentation,… once or more times a year every company has reason to talk to customers, relations or colleagues. In Platform we receive your business relations for a stylish reception. We serve exquisite seasonal snacks at a gastronomic level or provide tasting buffets that are built around taste experience. During the reception we provide a delicious cocktail and in addition to the drinks that are available at the bar, some top wines or Belgian beers are opened throughout the evening to enjoy with the amuses. That way everyone gets the chance to fully indulge his or her taste buds.

We also cater to two completely different styles of receptions, the business class upstairs, and the trendy lounge downstairs. This way everyone feels optimally welcome and you get a nice synergy between your guests. A low-hanging mist, trendy decorated standing tables and beautiful flower arrangements with countless candles give that wonderfully cozy feeling. This is called Burgundian networking ... In Platform we create your business event where your guests can dine, socialize and party in a relaxed atmosphere. Your guests arrive at the attractively lit location and we provide a stylish outdoor act as a welcome. We welcome your guests in a stylish manner with a glass of cava to offer the guests a stylish welcome. During the evening and during dinner, atmospheric jazz, soul & lounge music will be played in this aperitif room. This is followed by “le moment suprême”, the speaker takes the guests through the figures and goals and a few employees are put in the spotlight in an appropriate manner. We then serve a delicious walking dinner. Culinary surprises, served with respect for the basic ingredients. Your guests will be amazed by the taste explosions and artistic dishes. Gala dinner

The champagne-cooled, beautifully set dinner tables, a pianist provides the right background music upon entry, everyone is dressed in evening attire for your gala dinner. Whether it concerns a benefit evening, a gala dinner for business relations or an intimate dinner for your guests, we ensure an unforgettable luxurious evening. During the aperitif we provide a beautiful champagne tower and we serve exquisite amuses for your guests. Our professional photographer will take portrait photos of your guests with their partner or colleagues upon arrival, this way everyone can take home a tangible memory of this evening.

After the reception, your guests are asked to take a seat at the beautifully set tables and there is an opportunity for a word of welcome. Afterwards, the first wine will be served and our waiting staff will serve the starter. The various wines and different courses follow each other at a leisurely pace so that your guests can fully enjoy all the goodies. Art workshops

The experts from House Bernaerts regularly receive groups of interested parties to treat them to an 'Introduction to the auction industry'.

In this one-and-a-half-duration seminar, the audience receives answers to his / her questions about the auction system, the estimate prices, top results at home and abroad, forgeries, webcast auctions, tips and tricks, the do's and don'ts, etc. during an auction and bidding tout court. This presentation, 'Auctions, un jeu de l'amour et du hasard', entails a presentation followed by a round of questions or a tour of the pieces currently on display for the next public auction.

Auctioneer

Mon Bernaerts, who started his business in 1974, has already assigned hundreds of thousands of pieces to numerous collectors, enthusiasts and dealers from home and abroad. De veilingzaal heeft een unieke uitstraling en is voorzien van een auditorium voor 300 personen (met 150 plaatsen op de tribune). Daarnaast zijn er 5 multifunctionele ruimtes beschikbaar. U ontvangt uw gasten in de nieuwe stijlvolle receptieruimtes Box en Parcours. In de Verlat- en Museumzaal houdt u een gala dinner of walking dinner voor mx 300 personen, ten midden van alle kunstwerken. Onze uitdaging ligt in het bedenken en uitvoeren van spraakmakende totaalconcepten voor al uw meetings, productpresentaties, recepties, walking diners, gala-avonden, seminaries, persvoorstellingen en private evenementen. Onze verschillende ruimtes hebben een stijlvol en strak interieur en bieden onbeperkte mogelijkheden voor uw evenement op het Antwerpse Zuid.

Concepten rond kunst

Platform staat als locatie voor originaliteit qua invulling wat uw projecten betreft: in het bekende veilinghuis siert altijd wel een stuk antiek, design of een unieke collectie kunstvoorwerpen de ruimten om verkocht te worden, onder de hamer of uit de hand. Meestal betreft het antiquiteiten of zeldzaamheden die rechtstreeks uit privaat-collecties worden aangeboden. Op vraag kan de zaal aangekleed worden met schilderijen van Oude, Romantische en Moderne Meesters, sculpturen, oude luchters, tapijten, etc. Zo vindt u het geschikte kader met unieke en originele kunstvoorwerpen die uw event tot een onvergetelijke fotoshoot maken.

Luxueuze receptie

Dankzij de nieuwste zalen Box en Parcours worden uw genodigden al bij het ontvangst op een exclusieve manier ondergedompeld in de kunstwereld.

Een revolutionaire ‘box’ die in het oude 19de eeuws depot geschoven werd, doet niet alleen dienst als receptieruimte maar huist ook drie burelen. Rondom de Box zijn glazen vitrines en een schilderijwand waar de nieuwste kunstvoorwerpen te bezichtigen zijn alvorens ze tentoongesteld worden voor de veiling.

Box en Parcours kunnen worden ingehuurd voor een luxueuze receptie tot 100 personen. Dit kan het startpunt zijn van een congres of seminarie dat zich verderzet in de grote Veilingzaal. Uw event eindigt in stijl met een walking dinner of gala diner te midden van alle kunstwerken in de Museum of Verlatzaal.

Een seminarie is in de oorspronkelijke betekenis een studiebijeenkomst onder leiding van deskundigen, een professionele stuwkracht die de meeste bedrijven levensnoodzakelijk vinden voor de verdere ontwikkeling van bedrijf en personeel. Pure kennisoverdracht is nuttig, maar tegenwoordig mag het meer zijn in de hedendaagse bedrijfscultuur. Bij het organiseren van een meetcentive is de nood aan een aangename en stijlvolle seminarielocatie groot. Platform heeft dankzij het auditorium en de mogelijkheid om kleine break-outs te voorzien alle faciliteiten ter beschikking om uw meeting op topniveau te realiseren. De breaks krijgen een extra dimensie door de aanwezigheid van onze baristakampioen die uw gasten verrast met kunstige latte-art of voorzien we een smoothiebar met verse sappen? Na het formele gedeelte volgt een gepaste lunch-formule en we vervolledigen de “meetcentive” met een toffe workshop rond kunst of outdoor activiteit op het levendige Zuid. In Platform ontvangen we uw zakelijke relaties voor een stijlvolle receptie. We serveren exquise seizoensgebonden hapjes op gastronomisch niveau of voorzien degustatiebuffetjes die opgebouwd zijn rond smaakbeleving. Tijdens het ontvangst zorgen we voor een heerlijke cocktail en naast de dranken die aan de bar te verkrijgen zijn worden doorheen de avond enkele topwijnen of Belgische bieren geopend om bij de amuses te degusteren. Op die manier krijgt iedereen de kans om zijn of haar smaakpapillen ten volle te verwennen.

We voorzien ook twee volledig verschillende stijlen van recepties, het zakelijke stijlvolle boven, en het trendy loungy beneden. Zo voelt iedereen zich optimaal welkom en krijgt u een mooie synergie tussen uw gasten. Een laaghangende mist, trendy gedecoreerde statafels en prachtige bloemstukken met talloze kaarsjes geven dat heerlijke cosy gevoel. Bourgondisch netwerken heet dat dan... Aansluitend serveren we een heerlijk walking diner. Culinaire verassingen, geserveerd met respect voor de basisingrediënten. Uw gasten zullen versteld staan van de smaakexplosies en kunstzinnige gerechten. Na het diner voorzien we een toffe loungesetting waar uw gasten nog kunnen genieten van een degustatie rond Belgische bieren of Whisky & Cigars op het terras. Gala diner

De champagne gekoeld, prachtig gedekte diner tafels, een pianist zorgt voor de juiste achtergrond muziek bij binnenkomst, iedereen is uitgedost in avondkledij voor uw gala-diner. Of het gaat om een benefiet-avond, een galadiner voor zakenrelaties of een intiem diner voor uw gasten, we zorgen voor een onvergetelijke luxueuze avond. Tijdens het aperitief voorzien we een prachtige champagnetoren en serveren we exquise amuses voor uw gasten. Onze professionele fotograaf maakt bij aankomst portretfoto’s van uw gasten met hun partner of collega’s, op deze manier kan iedereen een tastbare herinnering aan deze avond mee naar huis nemen.

Na het ontvangst worden uw gasten verzocht plaats te nemen aan de prachtig gedekte tafels en is er gelegenheid voor een welkomstwoord. Aansluitend zal de eerste wijn worden geschonken en serveert ons bedienend personeel het voorgerecht uit. De diverse wijnen en verschillende gangen volgen elkaar in rustig tempo op zodat uw gasten volop kunnen genieten van al het lekkers. Na het smakelijke gala diner kunnen uw gasten genieten van een koffie van onze barista, en voor de fijnproevers onder ons nog een whisky & sigaren-degustatie. Workshops rond kunst

Met regelmaat ontvangen de experten van huis Bernaerts groepen geïnteresseerden om hen te vergasten op een ‘Inleiding tot het veilingwezen’.

In dit anderhalf durend seminarie krijgt de toehoorder antwoord op zijn/haar vragen over het veilingwezen, de schattingsprijzen, topresultaten in binnen-en buitenland, vervalsingen, webcastveilingen, tips and tricks, de do’s and dont’s, etc. tijdens een veiling en het bieden tout court. Deze uiteenzetting ‘Veilingen, un jeu de l’amour et du hasard’, houdt een presentatie in gevolgd door een vragenronde of een rondleiding langs de stukken die op dat moment geëxposeerd worden voor de volgende openbare veiling.

Veilingmeester

Mon Bernaerts, die zijn zaak begon in 1974, wees inmiddels al honderdduizenden stukken toe aan tal van verzamelaars, liefhebbers en handelaars uit binnen-en buitenland. Onder zijn ivoren hamer vielen topstukken als ‘Oiseau de ciel’ van René Magritte, nog steeds het duurst verkochte schilderij ooit in België, geveild uit het Sabena-faillissement voor 3.815.000€, maar ook verzamelingen waar menig buitenlands veilinghuis op aasde vonden onder zijn leiding een nieuwe eigenaar. Naast eigen veilingen staat hij ook graag ter beschikking voor benefietveilingen.
