Capacity

The Music Meeting Lounge can accommodate 20-30 people. Maximum 40 people in theatre setup. The lounge has an extra space with no less than 28 different panels (pin-, magnet- and whiteboards), a sunny roof terrace and sufficient seating areas where you can work in peace.

Poel Tour – Enjoy nature

In the area surrounding the Music Meeting Lounge you can take fantastic nature walks, just a stone's throw away are the Amstelveense Poel and the Amsterdamse Bos. We are happy to help our guests map out a beautiful walking route. Our personal favorite: a 45-minute walk around De Poel. But there is so much more to discover.

Meetings between Vinyl – A second life

Our vinyl collection is almost entirely second-hand (Donate? Yes, please!). In addition to playing in our DJ Booth, old records have also been used as decoration in the record cloud in the meeting room. On the roof terrace we have our own “wall of fame” where artists are depicted with graffiti on used records. The cover of our guestbook is made from an old record and recycled paper. Upcycling to the max!

We offer special meeting packages as well as early bird breakfasts or a nutritious lunch that will keep you going for the entire afternoon.

Alzheimer Nederland – A better quality of life

Music Meeting Lounge is an ode to Marianne's father who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. It is therefore no surprise that we support Alzheimer Nederland. With our 'Don't drink the water' arrangement you can consume unlimited soft drinks during your meeting in exchange for a donation (€ 25.00 or more).

De Music Meeting Lounge biedt plaats aan 20-30 personen. Maximaal 40 personen in theateropstelling. De lounge beschikt over een extra ruimte met maar liefst 28 diverse panelen (prik- magneet- en whiteboards), een zonnig dakterras en voldoende zitjes waar in alle rust gewerkt kan worden.

Rondje Poel – Geniet van de natuur

In de omgeving van de Music Meeting Lounge kun je fantastische natuurwandelingen maken, op een steenworp afstand ligt namelijk de Amstelveense Poel en het Amsterdamse Bos. Wij helpen onze gasten graag met het uitstippelen van een mooie wandelroute. Onze persoonlijke favoriet: in 45 minuten een rondje om De Poel. Maar er is zo veel meer te ontdekken.

Vergaderen tussen Vinyl – Een tweede leven

Onze vinyl collectie is bijna volledig tweedehands (Doneren? Ja, graag!). Naast het afspelen in onze DJ Booth zijn er ook oude platen gebruikt ter decoratie in de platenwolk in de vergaderruimte. Op het dakterras hebben we onze eigen “wall of fame” waarbij artiesten met graffiti zijn afgebeeld op gebruikte platen. De kaft van ons gastenboek is gemaakt van een oude plaat en gerecycled papier. Upcycling to the max!

Music Meeting Lounge is een ode aan de vader van Marianne die aan de ziekte van Alzheimer leed. Het is daarom dan ook geen verrassing dat wij Alzheimer Nederland steunen. Fear of poor ventilation

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the meeting market has been severely affected by a continuous stream of cancellations, resulting in (too) low occupancy. Although in accordance with the guidelines (necessary) business meetings are allowed up to a maximum of 30 people, many organizations have a total ban on external meetings or there is a predominant fear among many of training together in poorly ventilated areas while the desire and need to see each other live again growing by the day.

The solution

The major culprits in spreading the virus are aerosols. These tiny droplets float in the air for a long time and if not properly ventilated, they can circulate for hours. Aerosols evaporate with good ventilation, such as opening windows against each other. “Because not everyone likes this, especially in bad weather conditions, we opted for ionization via a sterionizer. This technique ensures that ions attach themselves to contaminants such as viruses, which are then made harmless. Thanks to this smart system, the Aura Smart Air, people can meet safely and carefree with us ”, says Jennifer Lam, location manager of Music Meeting Lounge.

Distinctiveness

In addition to the strict measures already taken with the purchase of the Aura Smart Air, Music Meeting Lounge is taking another important step in the right direction to offer its customers an unforgettable but also safe meeting environment. Since its opening (January 2018), the location has achieved a very high occupancy rate due to its unique and distinctive concept and in 2019 won the Province Award for the best small-scale meeting location. Owner Marianne Kuiper: 'We will not sit still as paralyzed, wait and hope for better times. This crisis actually stimulates our creativity and adaptability. We not only want to be and remain one of the nicest locations, but also the safest. '

Als eerste vergaderlocatie in Nederland heeft Music Meeting Lounge haar ruimte voorzien van een gepatenteerd luchtzuiveringssysteem. Dit systeem is het enige systeem in zijn soort ter wereld dat met succes COVID-19 specifieke klinische onderzoeken heeft ondergaan en de binnenlucht voor 99,9% zuivert van bacteriën, pollen, schimmels en virussen, waaronder het COVID-19 virus wat onze samenleving teistert en samenkomen bemoeilijkt.

Angst voor slechte ventilatie

Sinds de uitbraak van het COVID-19 virus heeft de vergadermarkt ernstig te kampen met een continu stroom aan annuleringen met als gevolg een (te) lage bezetting. Ofschoon men conform de richtlijnen (nood)zakelijk bijeen mag komen tot maximaal 30 personen, geldt er bij veel organisaties een algeheel verbod op extern vergaderen of overheerst de angst bij velen om met elkaar samen te scholen in slecht geventileerde ruimtes terwijl de wens én noodzaak om elkaar weer live te zien met de dag groeit.

De oplossing

Grote boosdoeners bij het verspreiden van het virus zijn aerosolen. Deze minuscule druppeltjes blijven lang zweven in de lucht en als er niet goed geventileerd wordt dan kunnen ze urenlang circuleren. Aerosolen vervliegen bij goede ventilatie zoals het tegen elkaar openzetten van ramen. “Omdat niet iedereen, en zeker bij slechte weersomstandigheden, dit prettig vindt hebben wij gekozen voor ionisatie via een sterionizer. Deze techniek zorgt ervoor dat ionen zich vasthechten aan vuile stoffen zoals virussen die vervolgens onschadelijk gemaakt worden. Dankzij dit slimme systeem, de Aura Smart Air, kan men bij ons veilig en zorgeloos samenkomen”, aldus Jennifer Lam, locatiemanager van Music Meeting Lounge.

Onderscheidend vermogen

Music Meeting Lounge zet naast al eerder genomen strenge maatregelen met de aanschaf van de Aura Smart Air, weer een belangrijke stap in de juiste richting om haar klanten een onvergetelijke maar ook veilige vergaderomgeving te bieden. De locatie realiseerde vanaf de opening (januari 2018) een zeer hoge bezettingsgraad vanwege haar unieke en onderscheidend concept en won in 2019 de Provincie Award voor de beste kleinschalige vergaderlocatie. Eigenaar Marianne Kuiper: ‘wij gaan niet als verlamd stilzitten, afwachten en hopen op betere tijden. Deze crisis stimuleert juist onze creativiteit en aanpassingsvermogen. We willen niet alleen een van de leukste locaties zijn én blijven maar ook de veiligste.’
