Fruithof Castle and Oud Conynsbergh Wine Estate launch Wine & dinner
Fruithof Castle in Boechout and the nearby Oud Conynsbergh wine estate are joining forces. Now that outdoor events have been allowed again, they have developed a special formula for groups of 20 people or more: Wine & Dine. This all-in formula combines a visit to the wine estate of Oud Conynsbergh with a gastronomic dinner in Castle Fruithof.
Wine tasting, wine & food pairing, wine growing ... are on the rise. Wine domain Oud Conynsbergh in Boechout proves that promising wines can also be made in Antwerp. In 2018, the Boechoutse wines were even recognized as Flemish country wine.
The wine estate is close to Fruithof Castle, a unique location in the greenery on the edge of the Antwerp metropolis. Fruithof Castle has long been known for its gastronomic qualities.
It should therefore come as no surprise that a collaboration was established between the two in a special culinary formula: Wine & Dine.
The concept is intended for groups of at least 20 people (both business and private).
Everything starts with a short walk from Fruithof Castle to the domain of Oud Conynsbergh. The guests are received in the Mill of the domain where they are offered a wine tasting with snacks. Then sommelier Steve Bette shows them around the vineyard at the Molen.
After the visit to the wine estate, the guests walk back to Castle Fruithof, where a gastronomic four-course dinner awaits them. The wines of Oud Conynsbergh are selected by the sommelier with the dishes.
The Wine & Dine concept can be booked for groups from 20 people (both business and private) and with a maximum of 120 guests.

Kasteel Fruithof in Boechout en het vlakbij gelegen wijndomein Oud Conynsbergh slaan de handen in elkaar. Nu buitenevenementen opnieuw zijn toegelaten werkten ze een bijzondere formule uit voor groepen vanaf 20 personen: Wine & Dine. Deze all-in formule combineert een bezoek aan het wijndomein van Oud Conynsbergh met een gastronomisch diner in Kasteel Fruithof.
Wijnproeverijen, wine & food pairing, wijnteelt ... zitten in de lift. Wijndomein Oud Conynsbergh in Boechout bewijst dat ook in Antwerpen veelbelovende wijnen kunnen gemaakt worden. In 2018 werden de Boechoutse wijnen zelfs erkend als Vlaamse landwijn.
Het wijndomein ligt vlakbij Kasteel Fruithof, een unieke locatie gelegen in het groen aan de rand van de Antwerpse metropool. Kasteel Fruithof staat al langer bekend om zijn gastronomische kwaliteiten.

Alles begint met een korte wandeling van Kasteel Fruithof naar het domein van Oud Conynsbergh. De gasten worden er ontvangen in de Molen van het domein waar hen een wijnproeverij met hapjes aangeboden wordt. Daarna leidt sommelier Steve Bette hen rond op de wijngaard aan de Molen.
Na het bezoek aan het wijndomein wandelen de gasten terug naar Kasteel Fruithof, waar hen een gastronomisch viergangendiner wacht. Bij de gerechten worden door de sommelier aangepaste wijnen van Oud Conynsbergh geselecteerd.
Het Wine & Dine concept kan geboekt worden voor groepen vanaf 20 personen (zowel zakelijk als particulier) en met maximaal 120 gasten.
