Online Food & Agri Career Day; the numbers
Friday December 4, the first online edition of the Food & Agri Career Day was held on the virtual event platform of Elevent.ly. More than 700 students and young professionals were able to enrich themselves with valuable presentations and workshops. They could also register for coaching sessions and come into direct contact with recruiters from the 22 participating companies via (video) chat.
It was exciting for Misset, the organizer behind the Food & Agri Career Day. How many participants can we expect? Will exhibitors participate? How long can we keep everyone excited? Not to mention studio technology and the choice of the Elevent.ly platform, two new dimensions that they never had to deal with until recently.
The program started at 10:00 AM and lasted until 3:00 PM. More than 700 participants managed to navigate their way through the interactive location. The presentations were a combination of pre-recorded content, direct connections with speakers who called in from home and speakers who were present in the KAS Woerden studio live. Via an interactive map, the students could easily make their choice to view presentations, to search for vacancies or, for example, to contact recruiters from the participating companies. A completely new experience for online events where everyone was truly part of the event, partly due to the beautiful appearance and interactive possibilities. The figures therefore give a good picture of the activity of the participants. In total there were more than 25,000 stand visits, more than 200 video calls and more than 2,500 messages were sent. Figures that exceeded all expectations.

Vrijdag 4 december werd de eerste online editie van de Food & Agri Carrièredag gehouden op het virtuele event platform van Elevent.ly. Ruim 700 studenten en young professionals konden zich verrijken met waardevolle presentaties en workshops. Ook konden ze zich inschrijven voor coachingsessies en direct in contact komen met recruiters van de 22 deelnemende bedrijven via (video)chat.
Het was voor Misset, de organisator achter de Food & Agri Carrièredag, spannend te noemen. Hoeveel deelnemers kunnen we verwachten? Gaan standhouders meedoen? Hoe lang kunnen we iedereen enthousiast houden? En dan nog niet gesproken over de studiotechniek en keuze voor het platform Elevent.ly, twee nieuwe dimensies waar ze tot kort geleden nooit mee te maken hebben gehad.
Het programma begon om 10:00 en duurde tot 15:00 uur. Meer dan 700 deelnemers wisten zich een weg te banen door de interactieve locatie. De presentaties waren een combinatie uit van tevoren opgenomen content, directe verbindingen met sprekers die inbelden vanuit huis en sprekers die live in de studio van KAS Woerden aanwezig waren. Via een interactieve plattegrond konden de studenten gemakkelijk hun keuze maken om presentaties te bekijken, vacatures te zoeken of bijvoorbeeld in contact te gaan met recruiters van de deelnemende bedrijven. Een compleet nieuwe ervaring voor online evenementen waarbij iedereen écht onderdeel uitmaakte van het evenement, mede door de schitterende uitstraling en interactieve mogelijkheden. De cijfers geven dan ook een goed beeld van de activiteit van de deelnemers. In totaal zijn er ruim 25.000 standbezoeken geweest, meer dan 200 video calls geweest en zijn er meer dan 2.500 berichten verstuurd. Cijfers die alle verwachting te boven gingen.
