Since the outbreak of the corona virus, the event industry has come to a complete standstill. This ultimately led to drastic measures being taken by the management of MX. Part of the company filed for bankruptcy in September.

After negotiations and agreement with bankruptcy trustee Reinoud van Oeijen of Holla Advocaten, the way has been cleared for the establishment of a new BV. With this, Mansveld Expotech (MX) shows that it has confidence in the future. A significant part of the employment (24 employees) was retained when this BV was established.

Mansveld Expotech Projects BV was founded in order to be able to continue to serve customers in the rapidly changing market of trade fairs and events. Technology plays an increasingly important role in this market. In addition, a significant part of the employees, with their knowledge and expertise, stayed on board. This gives the confidence that MX can continue to support customers well both now and in the future.

Director Richard Kluijtmans: “The changing market conditions, such as the digitization of events, require adjustments. That we are able to do this is shown by the concept for digital events that we have launched in the Evoluon in recent months in collaboration with a number of partners. We are pleased that we can continue to use our good market position and the knowledge and expertise of more than 50% of the workforce to serve our customers. ”

The specialisms of MX remain intact. “We are and will continue to be a regular partner of the three largest exhibition locations in the Netherlands in the field of rigging and energy. In addition, we provide full technical support for trade fairs and events. Both physical and digital and combinations thereof. And you can still come to us for audiovisual equipment for presentations, trade shows and events. ” All this together ensures that MX, also in this new form, remains the market leader.

By using the right combination of light, image and sound, MX creates a total experience with impact for its clients. Technology must stimulate and thus encourage action and movement. Kluijtmans: "As always, we work with commitment, craftsmanship and an eye for the objectives and challenges of our clients." The MX offices in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven and Maastricht will be retained. “Our course is focused on long-term (customer) relationships, craftsmanship and innovation. With this change we are well prepared for the future, both in the short and the long (er) term. ”

Mansveld Expotech Projects BV is part of Mansveld Techniek, in which all disciplines within the spectrum of electrical engineering are represented.
