Amusivent is taking the next step in its growth with a new building
Evergem, December 7, 2023 – Amusivent, the tent builder and total organizer of events, moved into the new buildings in the Langendam in Evergem last week. A new step in the growth of the young company.
The birth of Amusivent
Amusivent was started in 2016 by two driven entrepreneurs: Tom Van der Vennet and Kenneth Viellard. The name Amusivent - a combination of entertainment, music and events - was apparently a good choice because within a short time the name was really known in the region. Both gave up their permanent jobs in 2016 to dive into this new adventure.
The company grew in a healthy and well-thought-out way. While Kenneth concentrates on all logistical issues, employee planning and all technical aspects, Tom is mainly concerned with the commercial and financial aspects of Amusivent. An unmistakable tandem in which they can each tackle any organizational challenge based on their specific knowledge, interests and skills.
Perseverance
The corona crisis, which put a lot of obstacles in the wheels in the events sector, turned out to be a moment of new opportunities for Amusivent. In addition to the construction and organization of the Hoge Wal Vaccination Center, many alternative activities have ensured that the company is stronger than before. Just think of our own production line for plexiglass screens, the Radio Rust Rust and Ceremonie Online project, a service that is still very successful to date.

Today and tomorrow
Over the past year, Amusivent has achieved many important milestones. At the end of 2022, it took over the materials from the Dutch Partyland, allowing them to offer even larger projects and, above all, industrial and long-term solutions to their customers. A sales branch in Knokke-Heist was also opened in November 2022 for the West Flemish market. Since December 1, 2023, Amusivent has moved into the new offices and warehouse in the Langendam in Evergem. This location gives the company more growth opportunities, but above all better visibility.

In addition to our own expertise in professional tent construction, a number of strategic alliances ensure that customers are completely "relieved". This ranges from interior and furnishings to all technical aspects such as air conditioning, heat pumps, power supplies, video, light and sound,” says Kenneth Viellard.

Evergem, 7 december 2023 – Amusivent, de tentenbouwer én totaalorganisator van events, nam afgelopen week haar intrek in de nieuwe gebouwen in de Langendam te Evergem. Een nieuwe stap in de groei van het jonge bedrijf.
De geboorte van Amusivent
Amusivent is opgestart in 2016 door twee gedreven ondernemers: Tom Van der Vennet en Kenneth Viellard. De naam Amusivent -een samenstelling van amuseren, muziek en event- lag blijkbaar goed in de mond want op korte tijd was de naam echt gekend in de regio. Beiden gaven in 2016 hun vaste job op om in dit nieuwe avontuur te duiken.
Het bedrijf groeide op een gezonde en goed doordachte manier. Terwijl Kenneth zich concentreert op alle logistieke vraagstukken, planning van medewerkers en alle technische aspecten, is Tom vooral bezig met het commerciële en financiële luik van Amusivent. Een onmiskenbare tandem waarbij ze elk vanuit hun specifieke kennis, interesses en vaardigheden elke organisatorische uitdaging aankunnen.
Doorzettingsvermogen
De coronacrisis die in de evenementensector heel wat stokken in de wielen stak, bleek voor Amusivent een moment van nieuwe opportuniteiten. Naast de bouw en organisatie van het Vaccinatiecentrum Hoge Wal hebben heel wat alternatieve activiteiten ervoor gezorgd dat het bedrijf sterker staat dan voorheen. Denk maar aan een eigen productielijn voor plexischermen, het project Radio Rust Roest én Ceremonie Online, een dienst die tot op heden nog steeds veel succes boekt.

Vandaag en morgen
Het voorbije jaar heeft Amusivent heel wat belangrijke mijlpalen bereikt. Eind 2022 nam het de materialen over van het Nederlandse Partyland waardoor ze nog grotere projecten en vooral ook industriële en langetermijnoplossingen kunnen bieden aan hun klanten. Ook in november 2022 werd voor de West-Vlaamse markt een verkoopfiliaal in Knokke-Heist geopend. Sinds 1 december 2023 heeft Amusivent haar intrek genomen in de nieuwe kantoren én magazijn in de Langendam te Evergem. Deze locatie geeft het bedrijf meer groeimogelijkheden maar vooral ook een betere visibiliteit.
“In de toekomst zal Amusivent zich nog meer richten op het bieden van totaaloplossingen naar haar klanten. Naast de eigen expertise in professionele tentenbouw zorgen een aantal strategische allianties ervoor dat klanten volledig “ontzorgd” worden. Dit gaat van interieur en inrichting over alle technische aspecten zoals klimatisatie, warmtepompen, stroomvoorzieningen, video, licht en geluid.”, zegt Kenneth Viellard.
