In Houston they know it best: for a successful launch you need a top team. Especially when it comes to pioneering work such as the official launch of athumi, the Flemish data utility company that must ensure that citizens' data is better protected and our privacy increases thanks to the data vault. Flanders is the first government worldwide to actually offer the data vault to its citizens.


How do you convey a difficult theme clearly and enthusiastically to the general public? How do you create impact for something that concerns all Flemish people but is also a complex subject? These were some of the questions Sylvester Productions had to answer. The production house from Haacht more than succeeded in this, as witnessed by the numerous spontaneous positive reactions afterwards.


Sylvester developed a creative and spectacular event formula that seamlessly matched the ambitions and image of athumi and that linked strong content to contemporary dynamics and great stylistic quality.

The venue of the event was Silo Brussels, a location that fits perfectly with athumi's goal to extract data from silos and let them work together in a secure way. In consultation with the client, Sylvester surprised the 300 C-level guests with an atypical room set-up that everyone liked. In the industrial site of Silo Brussels, an intimate setting was created in which the grandeur of the space was the stage of the show. A special projection setting and sophisticated camera work ensured that all those present could perfectly follow the live captured image and that a central point was created for the speakers. References to the launch of athumi - such as the visual data columns that were part of the decor - were incorporated into the stage setting, the show and the location.


This mix of live recording, talking guests on stage and interaction with speakers in the audience, enriched with handsome transitional bumpers, a top musical act, a special light show and tailor-made video content ensured a dazzling, inspiring and substantively strong launch event. athumi could not have wished for a better start.
