How to prevent getting reminders for unanswered messages on eventplanner.net

When you receive a quote or info request through the eventplanner.net messaging platform, we encourage you to respond directly through the platform for the best experience. This ensures that users get your response integrated right into their event software, allowing them to manage and follow up on all their inquiries in one organised space.

However, we understand that some venues and suppliers prefer email or automated tools to answer quote requests. If you choose to respond via email, that’s perfectly fine!

To avoid receiving reminder notifications from our system, here's what you can do:

Option 1: Respond via the messaging platform

Simply reply to the request through the chat. This is the most straightforward method. The user will get your answer where they expect it, and our system will automatically mark the conversation as answered, preventing any reminder emails from being sent.

Option 2: Notify the user about your email response

If you respond to the request by email, send a quick message via the chat to let the user know you've responded by email. This has two advantages:

  • The user knows where to look for your response, as they will likely expect it in the messaging platform.
  • Our system registers that you've responded; no further reminders will be sent.

Option 3: Mark as Processed

If no response is required (for example, if no further communication is necessary), you can manually mark the conversation as processed by clicking the 'Mark as processed' link under the conversation. This lets our system know no follow-up is needed, and it will stop sending reminders.

By using any of these methods, you'll ensure a smoother process both for you and your prospects, while preventing unnecessary reminders from the eventplanner.net platform.
