The Netepaleis is a private nature reserve that offers many possibilities for young and old, especially from spring to autumn. Because of the great respect for nature, we like quiet activities for people up to about 150 people, where the surrounding fields, the authentic design of the foyer and the inner garden are an added value. The imaginative way in which the whole was decorated is absolutely inspiring.

Ideal for walking in the front garden along the Sound Tank, a remnant of the former horticultural company. This artistic structure, with its flowing paintings and contrasting dark iron walls, creates a magical experience. Under the "starry sky" of the tank, sounds reverberate as if nature itself is responding. Here, a musician can provide a beautiful welcome, leading the guests to the inner garden for a warm ceremony or a unique funeral.

The transparent courtyard, with its green oasis of olive trees, banana plants and grape vines, offers a panoramic view of a pond, fields, the pony pasture and a forest with various tree species. Via a concrete path you walk to the back of the domain and look out over the dike of the Grote Nete.

The Nete Palace near the Grote Nete in Kessel is the life's work of the residents' family, a place that embraces biodiversity, ecology, sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Rainwater from the greenhouse feeds the pond, which overflows and creates a marshland that is home to numerous species of animals. Some parts of the domain are therefore protected and not accessible, so that nature has all the space to flourish.

Het Netepaleis is een privaat natuurdomein dat vooral van lente tot herfst vele mogelijkheden biedt aan jong en oud. Omdat het respect voor de natuur groot is, houden we van rustige activiteiten voor mensen tot ongeveer 150 personen waarbij de omliggende velden, de authentieke inrichting van de foyer en de binnentuin juist een meerwaarde betekenen. De fantasierijke manier waarop het geheel ingericht werd is absoluut inspirerend.

Ideaal om in de voortuin langs de Klanktank wandelen, een overblijfsel van het vroegere tuinbouwbedrijf. Dit kunstzinnige bouwwerk, met zijn vloeiende beschilderingen en contrasterende donkere ijzeren wanden, creëert een magische ervaring. Onder de "sterrenhemel" van de tank weerkaatsen geluiden alsof de natuur zelf antwoordt. Hier kan een muzikant een prachtig welkom verzorgen, dat de gasten naar de binnentuin leidt voor een warme ceremonie of een unieke uitvaart.

De transparante binnentuin, met zijn groene oase van olijfbomen, bananenplanten en druivelaars, biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op een vijver, velden, de ponyweide en een bos met diverse boomsoorten. Via een betonnen pad wandel je tot achteraan het domein en kijk je uit over de dijk van de Grote Nete.

Het Netepaleis nabij de Grote Nete in Kessel is het levenswerk van de familie van de bewoners, een plek die biodiversiteit, ecologie, duurzaamheid en zelfvoorziening omarmt.

In 2012 onderging het tuinbouwbedrijf een transformatie, waarbij de renovatie volledig op duurzame wijze werd uitgevoerd. Tot op de dag van vandaag vergt het onderhoud ervan jaarrond intensieve (handen)arbeid. De kachel werd gemaakt van een oud ijzeren watervat, h

de Klanktank van een brandstoftank. Elektriciteit is er dankzij de zonnepanelen op het dak. Regenwater van de serre voedt de vijver, die overstroomt en moerasgebied creëert dat een thuis biedt aan talloze diersoorten. Sommige delen van het domein zijn daarom beschermd en niet toegankelijk, zodat de natuur alle ruimte krijgt om te bloeien.
