125 years of the history of a notary's house is cast in a 'Historical tour of max. 90 minutes.
Discover a mix of beautiful architectural styles and extraordinary examples of architectural craftsmanship in Huis Nagels, such as the imposing staircase with enormous staircase railing in original hand-forged work. You will visit the various notarial quarters and you will have access to the private spaces such as the Gothic hall, the French hall. The apotheosis of the whole is the unique hall in Egyptian style. Egyptomania was extremely popular in the Belle-Epoque. You will be introduced to 2 stained glass windows that are unique in the world. In October, the long-awaited 'Downstairs' staff areas will finally be opened. Interesting lectures will be given on a regular basis, cabaret, music & other cultural events will also be part of the 'Event Program 2017-2018'. Huis Nagels back in the footsteps of 'Upstairs-Downstairs. An unforgettable adventure.
