The Dyos is without a doubt one of the most unique saloon boats in Amsterdam. The exterior of this tugboat may not immediately suggest it, but due to the design of the boat, this saloon boat can rightly be labeled as a high-quality design ship. The ship was designed by top designer Osiris Hertman, who is known for his use of special shapes and natural materials. During the restoration of the boat, Hertman has opted for a tough look on the outside and a warm, luxurious look on the inside, which means that the boat can be seen as one of the most prestigious locations on the water.

The Dyos offers everything you are looking for for an impressive and unforgettable event: a fireplace of hand-cut slate, a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet, AV equipment, large windows, a luminous roof, comfortable sofas and enough space to set up the boat in different ways. De Dyos is zonder twijfel een van de meest unieke salonboten van Amsterdam. De buitenkant van deze sleepboot doet het misschien niet direct vermoeden, maar door de inrichting van de boot mag deze salonboot met recht worden bestempeld als een hoogwaardig design schip. Het schip is ontworpen door top designer Osiris Hertman, welke bekend staat om zijn gebruik van bijzondere vormen en natuurlijke materialen. Bij de restauratie van de boot heeft Hertman gekozen voor een stoere look van buiten en een warme, luxueuze look van binnen, waardoor de boot kan worden gezien als een van de meest prestigieuze locaties op het water.

De Dyos biedt alles wat jij zoekt voor een indrukwekkend en onvergetelijk event: een open haard van hand-gekapte leisteen, een keuken van alle gemakken voorzien, een toilet, AV-apparatuur, grote ramen, een lichtgevend dak, comfortabele banken en voldoende ruimte om de boot op verschillende manieren in te richten. Door de enorme patrijspoort in het dak heb je een onbeschrijfelijk mooi uitzicht op de prachtige panden langs de grachten.

Deze sleepboot uit 1928 is al vanaf de bouw verbonden aan de stad Amsterdam. De boot was onderdeel van de, nu grotendeels verloren gegane, vloot van ‘echte Amsterdammers’. Mede dankzij de unieke bouw bevoer dit schip als ‘werkpaard’ vrijwel alle grachten van de stad.
