1. Workshop Execution
a. Building energy and fun together to take action. Energizers and icebreakers.
b. Participants learn to coach themselves and each other and make a switch in Thinking, Daring and Doing
c. With three challenging exercises you will learn how to overcome uncertainty and push boundaries through focus, courage and confidence in your own strength.
d. By overcoming these challenges you will experience euphoria, victory, courage and authentic power.
2. Method: Learning by Doing.
a. In 3 rounds, 15 participants in 2 groups perform the three exercises
b. After a plenary explanation of each exercise, we will give a demo. Participants will then perform the exercise.
c. The empowerment exercises follow one another and become increasingly challenging.
d. Each exercise gives participants increasing focus, energy, team spirit and courage to perform the next exercise.
3. The 3 Empowerment Exercises
- Plank Challenge. Break a plank with your bare hands. Goal: focus on your goal, not on your obstacles (bears on the road). Show courage and decisiveness.
- Arrow Challenge. Break an arrow on your throat. Goal: feel your fear and doubts, and dare to take action anyway. Experience courage and euphoria of victory.
- Bar Challenge. Two colleagues bend together on their throats, a 10 mm rebar. Goal: motivate each other to overcome fear. Also in practice.
In the Power Break Workshop we provide 3 empowerment exercises, but WITHOUT firewalking.
We provide workshops in Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK. And for international organisations in Belgium.
