An oasis of peace and greenery in the heart of Ghent, that is Het Rustpunt. In this seventeenth-century Carmelite monastery you can come and stay, hold meetings and get together. You imagine yourself back in time when you walk through the cloisters or admire the beautiful monastery garden.
The Rustpunt is, due to its central location and good accessibility, ideal as a location for a meeting, workshop or party. We offer multiple rooms of different capacities. The church can also be rented for concerts.
Since this is still an active monastery, only quiet parties are allowed. Our accommodation is therefore especially suitable for yoga, meditation and silent retreats.
We also offer overnight and catering options. You will sleep under the church tower in recently renovated rooms, each with a modern private bathroom. The rooms are simply furnished, without television, entirely in the atmosphere of the monastery.
