Neighborhood walk / Village tour: What motivates involved residents and what do they need?
Are you making policy and do you want to know if 'the citizen' can handle it? What he/she encounters during the daily tacking through the jungle of policy, rules, regulations, subsidy schemes and so on?
During the Neighbourhood Walk/Village Tour you will come into contact with active residents in your area for which you are creating your policy. Visit them and talk to the key figures and members of their group. What are they concerned with? What are they doing? and What do they encounter? Look through the eyes of residents and discover how they experience their neighbourhood, district, city, village and/or region and what areas for improvement they see. What rules do they encounter and why? Residents are often experts by experience. They want to help others from their hearts to prevent problems that they themselves have struggled with for years. That is why what they do often does not fit within the policy because what they do goes across many different policy areas.... We speak a different language... but often want the same thing: to encourage residents to leave the house, reduce feelings of social loneliness, alleviate poverty, make the energy transition accessible to everyone and not just to people who can afford it themselves or ....... citizens are committed in many areas to make their world and that of their fellow residents a little better. Everyone does this in their own way and for a specific target group.
But is that gap really that big? Come and see and investigate... we'd love to tell you more. Art d'Eko Events works demand-driven, so if you want input on a specific topic, we'll organize it for you.
We go on a voyage of discovery in the chosen area. At the various citizen initiatives we are ready to receive you, after which the initiator tells you how the organization came into being, what goals they pursue, in what way and what problems they tackle in their neighborhood, district, city district, city, village and/or region. Not because they have to, but because they see that it is necessary. They often 'just put their shoulders to the wheel themselves' because they saw that it is necessary. The perseverance with which the initiators push through and continue to believe in the goal and the path to get there is very inspiring.

Maak je beleid en wil je weten of 'de burger' er mee uit de voeten kan? Waar hij/zij tegen aan loopt tijdens het dagelijks laveren door de jungle van beleid, regels, voorschriften, subsidieregelingen enzo?
Tijdens de Wijkwandeling/Dorpsrondgang kom je in contact met actieve bewoners in jou gebied waar je jouw beleid voor maakt. Ga bij hen op bezoek en ga met de sleutelfiguren en leden uit hun groep in gesprek. Wat houdt ze bezig? Waar zijn ze mee bezig? en Waar lopen ze tegen aan? Kijk eens door de bril van bewoners en ontdek hoe zij hun buurt, wijk, stad, dorp en/of regio ervaren en welke verbeterpunten zij zien. Tegen welke regels lopen ze aan en waarom? Bewoners zijn vaak ervaringsdeskundigen. Ze willen graag vanuit hun hart anderen helpen om problemen te voorkomen waar ze zelf jaren mee geworsteld hebben. Daarom past wat ze doen vaak niet in het binnen het beleid omdat wat ze doen over veel verschillende beleidsterreinen heen gaat.... We spreken een andere taal... maar willen vaak wel hetzelfde: bewoners stimuleren om het huis uit te komen, gevoelens van sociale eenzaamheid verminderen, armoede verlichten, de energietransitie voor iedereen toegankelijk maken en niet alleen van de mensen die het zelf toch wel kunnen betalen of ....... burgers zetten zich op heel veel terreinen in om hun wereld en die van hun mede bewoners een beetje beter te maken. Ieder doet dit op geheel eigen wijze en voor een specifieke doelgroep.
Maar is die kloof echt zo groot? Kom eens kijken en onderzoeken... we vertellen je graag meer. Art d'Eko Events werkt vraag gestuurd dus als je op een specifiek onderwerp input wil, gaan we dit voor je organiseren.
We gaan op ontdekkingstocht in het gekozen gebied. Bij staan bij de verschillende burgerinitiatieven voor je klaar om je te ontvangen, daarna vertelt de initiatiefnemer hoe de organisatie is ontstaan, welke doelen ze nastreven, op welke manier en welke problemen ze in hun buurt, wijk, stadsdeel, stad, dorp en/of regio aanpakken. Niet omdat het moet maar omdat ze zien dat het nodig is. Ze hebben er vaak 'dan maar zelf' de schouders onder gezet omdat ze zagen dat het nodig is. Het doorzettingsvermogen waar de initiatiefnemers mee doorduwen en blijven geloven in het doel en de weg er heen is heel inspirerend.
